Trendsafe is an occupational health and safety platform designed for heavy industries. The platform employs efficient and integrated processes that elevate safety management to unprecedented professionalism.
The system consists of a web app for reporting and administration and mobile apps for data entry. Notable features include a sophisticated three-dimensional permission system for data entry and reporting across the organisation's multiple sites and departments. Additionally, the mobile apps for IOS and Android include offline storage and synchronisation for remote location data entry where there is no network connection.
Nine core modules facilitate safety report data entry and management of actionable items, including messaging and notifications. The platform also offers 53 Compliance Reports that are actionable at department, site, or organisation levels.
I collaborated closely with Trendsafe to gather all requirements and create a project and technical scope. I then developed wireframes and UI designs for the application and refined the functionality before managing the programming phase.
This fully scalable SaaS application is hosted on AWS and built using Java, JSON, APIs, and the Ionic mobile framework.
